Hi there,

Used to be part of a different thread for sibling round, but thought I'd start a new thread to see if there was anyone else considering a sibling round this year?

Our results came back OK overall. My haemoglobin, FSH, Vit D are optimal and I had good no. of follicles, but my AMH was only 4.9 whereas it was 10 in 2022. Husband's results were a big surprise, his sperm motility had increased by 40%! Just shows what his last job was doing working with chemicals etc. We're going to keep trying every month and start a new egg collection in the new year once I've had the 90 days of supplements. For the time being we have a holiday next week to look forward to and hope to squeeze another one in ebfore we start IVF again.

@Waitingaway Ive never taken an ovulation test 😂 Going solo was totally fine. The clinic was really quiet so I was in and out really quickly. Messaged DW from the waiting room, afterwards etc so it was fine and it was my favourite consultant so he was friendly, kind and also the most gentle at doing the procedure, plus the staff are friendly and we’ve been in and out a lot so a lot are familiar. It wasn’t the preference but totally not a big deal x

Ha! One of the many IVF/IUI differences I guess. All about peeing on sticks over here.

I found IUI excruciatingly painful (similar but not as bad as hyfosy) last time, so I'm not sure I could do it solo. Something to ponder on as we get nearer to it I suppose!
