4dp5dt (fresh) x 2 embryos - BFP - BFN

I took a test first for testing sake. I saw the faintest line. I then took another 5 hours later and it was BFN.

The line is still visible to the trained eye. However, it’s not enough to capture on camera.

What are you opinions? Do you think the first test was a faulty test?

4dpt is really early for testing. You may have caught some hightened hcg on the first test but maybe by the second test there just wasnt enough hcg concentrate through your urine. You can try testing again at 5dpt amd see if hcg has heightened. Also depending on the tests your using, cheap internet tests are unreliable for such esrly testing as they are known to leave behind positive markers even if there is no hcg detected, also some of them need a higher amount of hcg to show positive so they may not show a true positive until 7dpt to 9dpt.

@Miraclemuma03 Thanks for resounding. I used a First Response 6 days early test. I tested 4dp5dt with my son. 6dp5dt with my second pregnancy. So I know it’s possible to test this early.

I did a FR with FMU and it’s stark white so the test with the faint line yesterday makes me feel these tests are no longer as reliable as they used to be which is unfortunate as they were my go to.

I got faint positive at 4dp6dt with an easy at home test. Got stronger each day after that .. best of luck 🤞🏽

@AmberRose26 I agree it’s posisble. However, my tests are stark white 5 hours after the squinter and today they’re still white. Is this similar to your situation?

@PeacockMonster i only tested with 1st morning pee , I never done a test straight after another or a few hours after, as urine is less concentrated and will definitely give a lesser reading of HCG so I always done my test 1st thing 24 hours apart

If you had a trigger shot then also could be likely you picked that up.

Are they blue dye tests? My wife's blue dye tests faded really quickly - and she's now 14 weeks pregnant, so definitely a real positive.
