I'm 42 and husband is 40. I have always lived a healthy lifestyle: no smoking, no vaping, teetotal most of my life, healthy home-cooked food. We have one six-year-old child and have had six miscarriages in the last seven years, all naturally conceived. Husband had sperm DNA fragmentation of 18% but has been taking Impryl for this.
We were on Dr Shehata's complex plan after the last miscarriage in July, but after three months of trying we had no success. We then turned to IVF with Clinica Tambre in Alicante, and I had my baseline scan here in Ireland this morning. It was found that I have a large follicle of 17mm, and a lining of 10mm, which means that the clinic do not want to start treatment just yet. Does anyone know what this means? I am absolutely gutted about it.
Also, I have significantly fewer follicles than what was found at my AFC scan in October (15 back then). Is this due to taking Microgynon, as per the IVF clinic's recommendation?
