Late period after egg retrieval

Hello all

I had egg retrieval on 16th October, had a withdrawal bleed on the 21st and now waiting for my period.

It is 4 days late! Has anyone else experienced this? I'm guessing that my cycle is all out of sorts after the stimulation cycle

Hi, mine was a week late, back to normal the following cycle.

I had it delayed for a couple of days too, and the PMS was very painful. But maybe contact your doctor if you feel concerned : )

I was told very normal for it to be early/late/different in some way but that it should settle soon!

Yes, same for me, almost a week late and really painful when it did appear.

Always the way when desperate for it to start so I can move on to the next cycle!

Well I took a pregnancy test this morning as my husband had an inkling...

I'm pregnant!

6 years of trying, 2 rounds of IVF and this bean decided that now it was time whilst we were waiting to transfer
