Semen results - viscosity help

Husband received semen results today. His semen viscosity has come back as abnormal and they want to do a repeat. Can anyone shed light on what this means and the results below?

Semen PH - 8.3
Sample volume- 2.9ml
Sperm density- 63 (10*6 m/L)
Sperm mortality - 72%
Sperm forward progression - 65%
Sperm morphology - 5%

Just following up on this did you do another test? My husbands is the sample came back crazy low on everything and like 99% abnormalities and very high viscosity and not sure why but he had the flu for a week about 5 weeks prior to the sample being done

So he did another test a few months later and still the same results with the viscosity being abnormal. GP didn't seem too worried but then again didnt really know much about it, we are in process of being referred. I read it could be down to hydration but also inflammation too 🤔

Sorry to hear that. Have you looked into supplements to help? Dulce downtown research and NAC 600mg a day is supposed to help it be less thick lol. Failing that cough medicine 🤣
