I had egg collection yesterday morning (2nd cycle). No call yet as to how many fertilised.
After the procedure I was told that all being well we would have a fresh transfer on Monday, which would be day 6. It didn’t click at the time. Our fresh transfer from our 1st cycle was day 5. I’ve only ever heard of day 3 and day 5 transfers, fresh or frozen.
i think the only reason we are having a day 6 transfer is because the clinic is closed on the Sunday which is day 5.
Feeling really disheartened as everything I’ve looked at online says fresh day 6 transfers have a lower success rate to day 5.
Has anyone else been in this position?
Part of me is wondering if I should speak to the clinic about doing a day 3 transfer tomorrow?
