Finally leaving the club of peeing on sticks and praying and I'm sick of feeling down. Any fellow infertility warriors who have recently been through hard times, let's make a new club...the next steps/new plan club!!!!

Hey hey, my FET failed few weeks ago so back onto a fresh cycle. Had my bloods taken today and hoping to start down-regging shortly.
It's such a brutal journey, sorry you find yourself here.
I was able to get a follow up appointment 2 days after my negative test which helped a lot, so suggest being insistent if you can

Thanks so much for responding! I am so pleased you are already into your next cycle. Wishing you all the luck in the world. Our last failed cycle was our last frozen embryo so we are having to think about starting all over again. I need to muster up a bit of energy. But yesterday we booked our appointment to discuss next steps on 17th November. Will let you know how I get on!

Hi ladies!

First 2 cycles failed at first stage - total failed fertilisation.

Third cycle and first FET success but miscarried.

First attempt at FET and just been cancelled due to thin lining 🤦🏼‍♀️

Not sure how much more I can take

@PlanBFertility sorry you find yourself here. Argh, thin lining is frustrating and often not dealt with well by clinics (I had a friend who had it who had a lot of her cycles mismanaged).
I hope you get some good next steps to help you on this brutal rollercoaster of a journey 🙏

@TheFanciestPants I’m going to start on progesterone to induce a bleed and then have a non-medicated cycle to see if lining thickens better with no exogenous oestrogen. Here’s hoping!

Sounds like a great next step. The oestrogen made me feel terrible so I will go for a natural FET next time.
Just need some embryos first... 🙄

You are not alone, keep going. Your right embryo will come home to you.

Have all of your cycles to date been medicated? Because for me the natural unmedicated cycles have been so much kinder.

Nearly lost my mind on the hormones from the medicated transfers tbh.

two failed cycles here for us - both with pretty low egg numbers, made it to blastocysts but then tested as abnormal.

just had an appointment this morning to start next round after priming for 2 weeks - apart from scan showed up a new cyst on my ovary… so sent home to wait for my period when they will scan again and do bloods to see if it’s throwing out any oestrogen.

feel pretty deflated as had just psyched myself up for going through the cycle again! Part of me wonders if I’m mad for having any hope left x

No you must have hope left. This is part of a story, I think when you have to wait another cycle it means that you are waiting for the egg that is meant to give you your baby! Keep going. Have they got a plan of how to change your protocol?

it’s funny after so long of dreading my period while TTC, now I keep popping to the loo desperate to see it so I can get the baseline scan booked in and work out what is happening with this cyst!

@itsthehopethatgetsyou good luck with your baseline. Long story short I had an unovulated egg (from a failed cycle) which impacted the next cycle. They claimed it wasn't impacting that ovary but only one follicle grew of the 7 at baseline (I got 6 the other side 🤦‍♀️)! So definitely good to wait and sort it out if you can.

How is everyone else getting on? I have my baseline scan tomorrow to see if I can start down-regging. Long cycles are well, very long!

1 failed FET, a stage 3 endo diagnosis and a laparoscopy/ fallopian tube removal here. It definitely feels like 2025 has kicked my a*se!

I’m having a break over Christmas before getting back in the ring for another FET but wishing you so much luck 🍀 for those are starting a new cycle. You got this 💪🏻 x

@PlanBFertility I am so sorry to hear that. It seems a little early to test but I guess your clinic knows best!
