First embryo transfer

I had my first frozen embryo transfer yesterday and now I’m on the TWW and it will be a miracle if I don’t lose my sanity by then 😆. I’d like to know if any of you ladies are like me and don’t have the patience of a saint and tested early and if so what day did you test?.

I only ever made it to day 4!

I haven't had my transfer yet but my plan at the moment is to wait until my clinic's beta and maybe get a private beta lined up in case it's positive to see if it doubles. I have never had a positive so a part of me thinks that it would be bad luck to test at home because I don't believe I could ever see two lines. But that's just me being superstitious 😂

Waitingforday6 that’s good you have a plan in mind that’s the best way to be to be honest. The last time I had a positive I miscarried not long afterwards so I’m gonna be nervous either way.

Ah I’m on the same timeline as you! OTD is Saturday 8th. My DH doesn’t want to test until that morning before we go to the clinic for beta. I don’t know if I can wait that long but I’ve also never had a positive so don’t want to tempt fate

Limmers14 it is really hard the TTW where your feeling stuff and really want to test. Best of luck for Saturday.

It’s so hard! Have you had any symptoms? My clinic told me try not to put too much stock in them as it could be the progesterone. I’ve had a heightened sense of smell, muscle pain, stomach twinges 😂

My first response tests arrived today. I need to hide them.

@Limmers14 i have but im on a double dose of progesterone pessaries and an injection everyday because it was 33 and its supposed to be 45 so I don’t know what to think at the moment.

Ah I see. Yeah I’m on Lubion, Cyclogest and Progynova so all my symptoms could be progesterone! My DH has agreed we can test tomorrow. OTD is Saturday so I feel like tomorrow should be a good indication? We had a PGTA embryo that was nearly fully expanded when thawed and the embryologist that should be about a 60-70% chance. I’m so hopeful but I think my brain is also protecting me from being excited

@Limmers14 yeah I’m on all of those too. I should think your HCG might be there on the test. yeah iv done a few tests my boyfriend wanted me to test yesterday faint lines so I don’t know how to take it just yet as they could just be evap lines.

@Krystalrose55 got a positive this morning!! Just back home from doing bloods at the clinic. They’ll call me this afternoon with the results and then back in on Monday to check if it’s doubled.
