FET after laparoscopy

Hi everyone,

I’ve been ttc 2 years and during that time found out I have endometriosis. It’s only been diagnosed on ultrasound (ovary attached to womb and an endometrioma). I went ahead and had an EC and had my first FET this month which unfortunately didn’t work. I was taking 25mg Prednisolone to try and reduce any inflammation.
I’ve decided to go ahead with a laparoscopy so I know the extent of the endometriosis and can hopefully have it treated before any more FETs. Has anyone had FET success after laparoscopy?
I’m worried I’m jumping the gun a bit with surgery as my fertility clinic doesn’t seem to think it makes much difference, but don’t want to keep throwing embryos in if the endo is causing issues.

37yrs , TTC1, endo and PCO

Any advice/stories would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Hi,
I was watching this thread from a while back and got notified of your message.

In case helpful, from my side I did have a lap just to remove my right tube which endo had turned into a hydrosalpinx. The tube was dripping toxic fluid into my uterus and I never would have been able to have an embryo implant in that condition. I then tried a natural modified transfer protocol with just progesterone support and that failed. I then did down regulation with Buserilin for a month and a medicated FET - that embryo is now my 8 week old son. Good luck! X
