Anyone else on a fresh cycle?

Trying for Baby 2 after a rough year with fertility treatments (missed miscarriage April 2025 FET, unsuccessful round August 2025 FET). No embryos left so started a fresh cycle. Started stims Wednesday night and cetrotide this morning with egg collection planned for some time week beginning 27th Oct. Our first baby was born via IVF in July 2024 after one miscarraige (fresh cycle) and a failed FET. I suppose its fair to say we aren't necessarily new to this but it's never easy and thought it might be nice to chat with others.

100%, feeling so bad right now and not being able to take decongestants is killing me! Went for scan today and they said they arw likely doing egg collection on monday, which means a fresh transfer (day 4) on friday which im a little annoyed with but guess i can't do much about it. I don't know if either of yoy have heard of day 4 transfers?
I've never tried acupuncture, don't really know too much about it tbh?

@RavenWillow that's annoying on all counts! Good luck and I remember using loads of the saline spray during pregnancy and forehead stick.
I actually started bleeding this morning, so hoping to get going tomorrow. 🤞🤞🤞

Fingers crossed you can start stims tomorrow, keep us updated. Saline spray and Paracetamol are EVERYTHING right now. I'm just hoping it goes quick, especially if everything is happening next week as they say

Hey hey, thanks for checking in, pretty terrible. Cycle was a disaster. They mucked up my stims so only 1 of my 4 big follicles had an egg (the 2 little ones had eggs). They said everything was looking great before knocking me out and woke up to that.
I have booked in with ARGC in January as I don't have faith in my clinic anymore. They said it was my ovarian reserve rather than looking at anything helpful.

How are you getting on? How is little one doing?

Oh and they flushed my ovaries loads to try and get my eggs out and so I was in huge amounts of pain. Ah well, onwards and upwards!

Unfortunately I couldn't have a fresh cycle in the end amd was switched to a freeze all due to risk of OHSS.. However a day or 2 after retrieval I developed moderate verging on severe OHSS and have been in hospital. Finally coming out the other side now and have a scan with consultant tomorrow hoping it has mostly resolved but it has been hell!

On the positive side I had 29 follicles and had 28 eggs retrieved, around 25 were mature which 17 fertilised on a ICSI/Natural 50:50 split. Ended up freezing 8 Blastocysts on day 5 and a further 3 on day 6 so definitely positive. Haven't done PGT testing though so not sure if euploid.
