Blood thinner injections after FET. any advice?

Hi

I have Inhixa 6000IU (60mg) injections to take once daily after my FET, has anyone had this or a different brand of blood thinners and how long were you on this for if you had a successful pregnancy please ? I am only on as this is will be my 7th transfer with unexplained infertility so it’s a precaution really. Thanks in advance

Hi, I was on Arovi until 10weeks pregnant. My clinic (CRGH) had this as part of their standard protocol. The injections were a bit sore for me so I tended to use an ice pack to numb the area first. Different from my progesterone injections for which I used a warm pack after injecting to help disperse the thicker liquid!

I am on the same type of blood thinners as you due to getting OHSS late stage, caused by pregnancy and I will be on them until about 12 weeks x

I have to use clexane from 8 weeks pregnant all the way until 12 weeks post partem and I absolutely hate them and if my fet is successful the shots are what im not looking forward too. I end up with huge haematomas over my stomach and no amount of icing the area first helps with those nasty jabbers hahha but after a while you get use and they become every day life.

I hope your OHSS clears soon for you ! Can I ask what dose you are on if you don’t mind ? I have 6000 IU (60mg) and wasn’t sure is this a high dose ?! Thanks and wishing you lots of luck
