Hycosy- late period

Hi just wondering if anyone can help. I had a HyCosy on 17th Sept and from the 18th to 20th I had bleeding. No pains but bright red blood and enough of it that I had to wear a pad. It was kind of like day 1/2 of a period type of blood.

I was also due to ovulate between 22nd and 23rd sept and during the HyCosy the doctor said there was a follicle ready to go so it was ovulation time.

I didn’t really test LH this cycle cos I thought with the bleeding it wouldn’t be that great and my partner wasn’t home until the 22nd. We DTD on 22nd 23rd and 24th and then I stopped recording because I thought ovulation was over but now my period is 4 days late. Done a load of tests all BFN so just wondering anyone who’s had a HyCosy has your period been delayed/skipped?

Hi, I had a Hycosy on the 21st August. Was waiting for ovulation after, I usually know I’m ovulating from a great increase in WCM. I never got WCM after the Hycosy but still got my period on expected date on 10th September. After this cycle was monitoring WCM to track ovulation but again no sign of WCM also used LH strips and never really got a positive. I’m now 5 days late for my period but all negative pregnancy tests. Feel like the Hycosy has messed up my cycles.

@Riya619Hey, I’m on cycle 2 after hycosy and exactly as you have said before. Never really got a positive ovulation test, even clearblue was just flashing for days till in the end I gave up. Now 4 days late and on CD38 again!! I feel like it’s messed up mine too I’ve been thinking of all sorts. Like is it cos I change vitamins, have I put on weight, is it what I’m eating but in reality the only difference has been the hycosy 😭 so frustrating. How has your cycle been this month?

My cycle is back to normal now and I’ve started ivf! After the hycosy two of my cycles were strange and I didn’t have any won. After that cycles went back to normal
