Hi all, i had a frozen embryo transfer on oct 3rd. Had 3 embryos frozen and the best quality one didn’t survive the thaw which was really disappointed but they transferred the second one and I’m 7 days post transfer today. Have tried my best not to test as wasn’t feeling to optimistic and didn’t want to be disappointed but couldn’t hold out any longer I tested this morning and got a BFP. I’m a bit nervous though as I took a buserelin trigger 0.5ml on day of FET so wondering could that be giving a positive. Anyway hoping to get some thoughts from people who have had similar or can I actually believe it has stuck. Have my beta on 14th so not too long more to wait.

Hi and congratulations :)
I don't think buserelin contains HcG so it shouldn't be giving any false positives, so you should feel pretty confident that this is a positive pregnancy test. Wishing you all the best and hopefully beta confirms that pregnancy is progressing well.

Thank you so much for the message that’s really reassuring. Such a rollercoaster and I’ve spent the last few days second guessing everything. Hope if you are going through it atm yourself that it’s going ok 🙏🏽

Hi
Im also 7dp5dt. Have you had any symptoms?

Just chiming in here with my 2 cents 🙂 I had two FETs and the first I had symptoms which turned out to be the progesterone and got a negative test. Then the second I had nothing except the normal pre period symptoms; bloating, backache, cramps etc but I was actually pregnant!
The body is an amazing thing and it does what it needs to at the time. Try not to read into the symptoms too much, it’ll drive you crazy. Relax & enjoy this moment as much as you can, stay positive and look after yourself. Good luck 🍀

good advice!! I’ve had very little symptoms maybe some mild cramping the day after but I actually think my stomach was a bit dodgy a couple days leading up to the FET. My boobs are very tender but think that’s down to all the meds so it’s so hard to know as the symptoms could be attributed to so many things!! I did two egg retrieval cycles over the past year and had a freeze all on both of those cycles so this was my first transfer and I’ve found the TWW probably the most stressful of the whole process! Trying to keep as busy as possible 😀 and hope you’ll get a positive outcome 🙏🏽

Thanks. Had some low level cramping on one side today but other than that, I’ve had nothing since 1-2 days post transfer when I had cramping. Determined not to test until OTD next Friday but it’s so hard. It’s our one and only transfer 🤞🏻
