Hey everyone, this was my second transfer and I couldn’t help it but have been testing from 4dp and been getting negatives. Tested again today not using FMU but used a first response and still stark white negative. Starting to feel like I’m out this cycle now beta isn’t till next Tuesday but don’t have high hopes for it

It's too early - a negative doesn't mean anything. (Totally get how you feel, btw, I'm on day 7 too!). A faint positive might make you feel better, but a negative is just saying 'no information yet'.

@SarahAndQuack I’m trying to tell myself I’m not out yet! How are you getting on x

From what I recall, first response has a sensitivity of 6.3 miu/ml. The study below suggests that 4.53 miu/ml on day 7 is most predictive for an ongoing pregnancy. Therefore you would expect in most cases, an ongoing pregnancy will show on a highly sensitive test on day 7. There will be cases where this doesn't apply - like if urine is particularly dilute etc (which may absolutely apply you), or if HCG is just under 6.3 at the time of testing but as an IVF veteran, day 7 is when I start to manage expectations with a negative test.
