Failed second transfer

hi all, we’ve just had the disappointing news of a negative second frozen embryo transfer. We were actually seeing the faintest of lines 10dpt which disappeared by 12dpt. Was hoping to get some opinions on next steps and what to ask doctors. Also some good news from parents who took more than 2 FET’s for success.

thank you in advance

Im sorry you had another failed transfer. Have you had other investigations done before having your transfers? When we were starting all over again to expand out family 6yrs after our last baby it took us 2 rounds of ivf and it took on our 3rd transfer so I hope that gives you some hope. You can also have embryos tested but this is quite expensive on top of the costs of ivf.

So after our first failed transfer we did ask questions but were told no signs of endo and lining was good and nothing really to worry about. Protocol didn’t change much just an increase of progestrone and oestrogen. Thanks for some positive news!

Hey sorry to hear about your transfers. Depending on your age you should consider pgta . My best graded embryos were complex abnormal when tested. They would have been transferred first but were discarded as complex abnormal and they were top grade. Just something to consider.

@Yorkshire123453rd FET led to success with DC, 4 embryos transferred in total as the 3rd FET was a double. Agree with @TheIceBeargradings are not always an indicator, my first 2 FETs were good quality. I got success with 'average' quality embryos transferred in the 3rd FET. I was 38 at the time.
