First ovulation post miscarriage - Nervous!

Hi all,
on the 7th July we transferred a 4AB which had taken 2 previous cycles of failed IVF to achieve (total failed fertilisation)

Our little embaby implanted and I was lucky to be blissfully pregnant for 10 weeks, until we found out I’d had a missed miscarriage and little one had left us at 7+2

Fast forward a horrific medicated miscarriage and 4 weeks of bleeding, I finally got my negative HCG this Monday. Based on my LH ovulation sticks, I am now ovulating.

Whilst I’m grateful my body seems to be returning to normal, I am petrified. Our two remaining embryos are less quality (4BB and 4AC) and I’m scared of getting my hopes up again to be heartbroken.

How have you lovely ladies dealt with this?

Hey @PlanBFertility I'm so sorry for your loss. It's a horrible thing to go through, and after going through IVF as well is an awful lot to deal with. Are you thinking of doing another transfer soon?

Have your embryos been pgta tested, might this be an option at all for more peace of mind?

I'm not an expert but I don't think grades matter loads, or that there's much between those grades. I've transferred 2 (tested) 4BBs, one didn't take but the other did and the Dr said they were both decent quality, if that helps in any way!

We simply can’t afford any more testing. We’ve spent around £40k in a year 😭

I want to try again as soon as possible, just waiting to hear from my consultant.

Im so sorry for your loss. Its hard to move forward but please dont let it stop you from trying again. When we started over 7yrs after our last ivf baby, we had a loss at 9 weeks with the first transfer. Took another transfer and another ivf cycle and a third transfer to get a live baby so there is definitely success after loss but unfortunately if you cant test your embryos then you literally have to keep transferring embryos until you find the perfect embryo. I also am unable to have my embryos tested, its relatively new to my clinic and so very very expensive so I am also transferring blind so to speak but there is very much success after a loss.
