VERY low beta (IVF)

I had beta taken at 7 days past a 6 day embryo transfer. It was very low, beta hcg 4.82mIU /ml.
My clinic have said to carry on with the medication but I really don't think it is worth it. I have another appointment in 2 days.
Everything I have read suggests it will be a chemical and unsuccessful.
Any thoughts from anyone?

Day 7 is very early for a beta, don’t think I’ve heard of a clinic testing that early before. I would follow their advice and continue meds until the next appointment. Hopefully it will be much higher then.

It is a very low beta result, but as Gabby says it’s also a very early test. My clinic usually do a beta at 9 days (I know you had a 6 day transfer, not sure if that would change things).

Because of logistics (my clinic is in Spain), I’ve never made it over there for the beta test so they say wait until day 11 or 12 and use a pink dye test.

I know it’s horrible and feels like waiting for the inevitable but keep taking the meds and when you have the next beta you will have your answer, very much hoping you get good news. I’ve had quite a few transfers, one was successful, for me the waiting is horrendous so do what you need to do.

Thank you both for your replies. I have mentally prepared myself for a failed round. I have another beta tomorrow so will get more conclusive results. So so upset and angry at my body 😞😞
