Hey all, I'm due to see the consultant at the end of the month and I'm wondering if anyone here has been to the London clinic, if so what are the staff like? Are there any questions I could have possibly forgotten to write down? This is a 1st for me and my anxiety has hit the roof. I'm overthinking and worrying so much! P.s what about finance? What if I can't get it then all our hope of a child together would be over 😫 🙏🤯 Clinic, Staff, Questions, Anxiety, Finance, Hope, Child #LondonClinic #Consultant #Anxiety #Finance #Hope

Im not in the UK or been to that clinic but wanted to jump on and hopefully give you a bit of support and hopefully bump your post for someone else to give you some feedback. Its very nerve wracking jumping into ivf and heading into your first appointment with no real understanding on how it all works. Best thing in my opinion to do is write down any questions you have and take them along with you and while your there more might come to you as you conversate. Try not to worry about all the things at once and just concentrate on one obstacle at a time. Ivf unfortunely is the long game and the hardest part about ivf is all the waiting around you have to do for next steps but I find trying to take it all in at once in one hit is extremely overwhelming so for me I work through one thing at a time and keep myself occupied on other things that isnt to do with ivf inbetween the waiting periods.

@Miraclemuma03firstly thank you for replying. I wasnt sure if people could see my post. I will definitely write it all down and try to be as prepared as I can. Currently have most questions down that I think are obvious to ask. How are you getting on with your journey?

@muma9190they may work with a third party that can help you finance e.g Access or I think Humme is another another one but haven’t used these myself. Make sure to ask them about what protocol they would put you on and why. Use ChatGPT to help you come up with questions. Sending you good luck x

@confused2025yes I believe they work with humm, thats what im worrying about incase they refuse. What is chatgpt? Thank you xx

@muma9190ask them at your consultation and they can confirm who they partner with. ChatGPT is an online AI assistant - there are other versions like copilot etc. This has been a really good tool for me during my process when I have needed things explained or when researching or have concerns

HappyMamma2023 · 03/09/2025 20:23

I recommend the Zita West book on IVF. Explains the processes well and recommends how to change your diet to improve success. Good luck!

So I have my consultation tomorrow. I have 6 small eggs on the right side, 3 eggs on the left measuring 19-33. Is this good?

Hi,
I am considering kind IVF. Can ask what your experience was with them and if you would recommend?

Looking to start with Kind this year. Feeling very nervous. Not sure if I should do it with them or abroad. Iv had one failed cycle abroad with minimal stimulation. 150 menopur. 5 follicles, 5 eggs retrieved, but all poor quality. ChatGPT is saying a more intense protocol can create poorer egg quality, so really not sure what to do. Since the failed IVF I did manage to get pregnant naturally straight after twice, but
