Hello! My name is Megan and I’m a Trainee Clinical Psychologist. My thesis as part of my doctoral training is focused on exploring the psychosocial factors related to the experience of infertility grief for those with PCOS. Whilst I know people may struggle to conceive for many different reasons, PCOS has been seen as a large contributor with hardly any research focusing on this experience. Therefore, I wanted to focus my research on understanding this more to raise awareness of the difficulties and how best to tailor support.

The study would involve you reading some additional information about the project, then filling in questionnaires about infertility grief, depression, anxiety, social support, and shame.

We are looking for individuals who are aged 18 and above, live in the UK, have a diagnosis of PCOS and are experiencing fertility difficulties due to their PCOS, not currently having fertility treatment, and have not had any previous pregnancies.

If you think you may be eligible and would like to participate, please use the link below!

This study has received ethical approval from the University of Sheffield (code: 230169270).
