Utrogestan pessaries

We are asked to take Utrogestan 200mg as pessary daily for 21 days. How do we actually take them? Do we need applicators as well or just insert them manually? Are these applicators reusable?

They used to come with applicators but unfortunately the company decided to discontinue. I think it’s easier with an applicator but they aren’t reusable. You can get some on Amazon and I would advise to get them x

used applicators when I had these. They are smaller capsules, so need to get quite far up

I never bothered with applicators, I guess it’s just personal preference but I never had any issues with inserting them. Good luck.

I've been using utrogestan and I just pop them straight in without an applicator. I actually prefer them to cyclogest as they seem to dissolve better and aren't as messy!
