Greater Manchester NHS are planning to change policy to offer 1 cycle of NHS-funded IVF across the whole of Greater Manchester. Currently some boroughs offer 1, some 2, and some 3 cycles. NICE guidelines recommend offering 3 cycles. I agree it isn't fair that there is a postcode lottery for NHS funded IVF cycles across the UK but think we should follow NICE guidelines rather than have a race to the bottom.
