Norethisterone and Levothyroxine

It’s only just clicked and it’s not too late to speak with the nurses as I’m due to start meds tomorrow. Has anyone been on levothyroxine and also taken norethisterone as part of their treatment? I’ve only just thought that normally levothyroxine has to be taken alone first thing in the morning for absorption and just looked online and seen it says levothyroxine and norethisterone needs to be taken 4 hours apart as it can affect the thyroxine absorption. Has anyone else done this or questioned it?

@Cornish13 have your clinic requested you take the Norethisterone in the morning?
I took my Levothyroxine early morning as normal and took the Norethisterone at night.

@Kjla9 I've heard back from the clinic and the nurses have advised ‘It is always advised that Levothyroxine should be taken separately from all other medications. It is important not to compromise its effectiveness as please take the Norethisterone earlier or later by about an hour.’ Quite fortunate I overthink absolutely everything 😂

But yes I have to take Norethisterone once in the morning and once at night

I’m also an over thinker! Considering I’ve I took it last month, I don’t remember taking 2x per day.
