Short protocol query

Hello! I’m a bit confused. I’m due to start my first round and it’ll be a fresh cycle on a short protocol. I’ve just emailed the nurses for a rough timeline and they’ve advised I’ll start on CD19 and have a scan 2 weeks after that. I thought with a short protocol it started on like CD 2/3? Or did I make that up in my head 😂

Hi OP, what is the usual cycle length and ovulation? Maybe they will start with downregg pilll first and then start simulating?

@FlatWhiteAnyone i ended up calling the clinic to double check and it turns out I’ve now been put on a long protocol. Which they could have told me as I had mentally prepared and researched short protocol. My cycles are 30/31 days and ovulate on CD17/18. But yes I assume I am doing the down reg now 😊
