Natural cycle FET june/July 25

Hi everyone,

I am at the start of of my natural cycle FET wondered if anyone else was in the same boat? Got my first scan day 10 and then starying ovulation testing day 8 i think as sometimes i can ovulate a bit early so just want to make sure i am not missing anything

Possible transfer date around 6th July for me 🙏🙏

Wishing you all the best in the coming weeks! We're on similar timelines it seems. I have my day 7 scan this Friday 20 June, which'll mean roughly a Wednesday 2 July FET, if things go to plan. 36 y/o gay lady, first IVF attempt, Natural FET protocol.

I'm over in the June FET thread (www.mumsnet.com/talk/infertility/5344003-fets-june-2025) for the moment, as I had originally expected to have a late June transfer... so I may in fact jump to the July one now... haven't decided yet XD

I think I'm a late ovulater, but I've bought test strips already too!

@ALittleExpressive good luck to you too! Are you doing recipricrol ivf with a partner or doing it solo?

This is my first ivf attempt too, early 30s. I have been doing ovulation strips the last few months to get used to doing them and they seem pretty easy to use :)

I'm due a medicated FET in July! Waiting for AF to show after finishing norethisterone on Sunday, hoping it arrives soon then I'll be looking at FET around the same time as yourself! Second round of ICSI, second transfer, first unfortunately ended in MMC so super nervous this time!

@Timetotryagain - we were very much hoping to do reciprocal IVF, but my partner had an health issue that unexpectedly impacted our timelines a little. Hence, we've decided to use my egg for the first attempt.

Smart of you to try out the ovulation sticks ahead of time to get a sense of when you ovulate. Nice to know we'll find out around the same time!

@waitingforourmiracle Oh very understandable why you're nervous! Also nice that you'll be on the journey around the same time. Hurry up indeed, AF!

My AF has just wrapped up. First scan tomorrow- let's hope my lining is more pillow-like this month!

@ALittleExpressive good luck with your scan tomorrow! No AF for me yet so it's pushing my expected transfer date back but hopefully won't be too long!

Hi everyone...
I had my embryo transfer on 9th this month both blastocyst...had to go for my bhcg on 23 ...I started my period like cramps on 13th n watery discharge like hell...it is a FET and a natural cycle currently ok progesterone 400mg ....any symptoms related to this after transfers ..

@ALittleExpressive what cycle day is your first scan? Mine is on day 10 seems like some clinics do earlier scans etc!

@waitingforourmiracle i hope your AF arrives soon! Are you nervous or excited about the cycle?

@waitingforourmiracle hopefully, getting frustrated now 🙄 I'm a real mix this time, after my first round ending how it did I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm 50/50 nervous and excited!

@Hope4miracle I had period like feelings on my first transfer, when is your test date?

My bhcg test date is 23 waiting for it I am also having watery discharge and back pain.

I am not taking home pregnancy test my doctor advised me not to take it...because my stress levels goes very high so trying to stay positive n you said you had this symptom on first time what was the result?

My first test day (today) was day 7, then my second test day would be day 10, but we're away for a long weekend, hence they let us schedule it on day 11 (TUE 24 JUN).

On day 7 my consultant saw my triple layer uterus lining and my thickness was 4.9mm. I haven't got a dominant follicle yet, but a few of my largest ones measure about 10mm across.

Hopefully on day 11 my lining is more plump and I have a nice juicy dominant follicle! It would be ideal if I ovulate without having to take the Ovitrelle trigger.

My consultant asked me to start ovulation sticks this Monday (day 10).

I'm going to take three days off work during transfer week to relax, then I'm off to Pride celebrations in the second half of the week, which feels timely! ✨️

@Hope4miracle Sounds like a good plan that'll help to reduce stress levels.

I am day 9 or day 10 (period started late at night so not sure if that was day 1 or 2 haha) I had mine today lining was looking a bit thing at 4.9 but she did say it couldnjust be early. I have a dominant folicile and she said to start LH testing today

@Timetotryagain heya! I had my second scan today (Day 11) indeed- thanks for remembering!

Reading your update brought me some relief. Funnily enough, I reckon we're facing a similar challenge: thin lining. Mine was 5mm, which is only .1mm growth since day 8 (not even factoring in error margins).

Other factors are good. Like you, I've got a dominant follicle which has progressed nicely. I've also got the triple layer uterus they seem to want to see. It's just the lining issue. I've been LH testing for about 48 hours.

My next scan is this Thurs. Hopefully my lining plumps up heaps over the next 48hrs. The consultant said if my lining doesn't thicken by the time I ovulate (probably around Thursday or Friday this week) they will have to cancel the cycle.

I'm chugging the pomegranate and beetroot juice as we type XD

Thats good they say the triple line on yours and hopefully yours thickens too. My next scan is also Thursday!

its soo frustrating to me because my baseline scan and all throughout my egg retrieval by lining was like 9mm and all previous fertility scans i have had i have never had a thin lining! I have the warm socks on (even in this weather) and did a bit of exercise today to try and get that blood pumping to the uterus lining haha! Will have to get the pomegranate juice tomorrow. Anything to help haha

@ALittleExpressive i had my 2nd scan today and the lining has thankfully gone up to 7.5 or 8mm (they measured twice) so i am pleased with that. How did yours go?

Follicle looking 20mm so due to ovulate soon they think, havent had a surge yet on LH strips though

Woohoooo @Timetotryagain ! Those are great measurements! Such good progress for two days!

I feel like we need a little virtual celebration cause my scan today revealed my dominant follicle also grew to 20mm and my lining fluffed up to 8mm. I'm very surprised and relieved. I could tell as soon as they put the wand in that it looked plumper than two days ago 😹

I haven't had my LH surge yet either (Day 13 today), but they think my body is ready, so they've scheduled my ovitrelle trigger shot for tonight. Pessaries start on SAT.

For anyone else reading this who has a thin uterus lining... I'd recommend holding out hope, as things can improve in a mere couple of days. Not sure if it was the pomegranate and beetroot juice or just my dominant follicle's natural work... but something magic happened!

@ALittleExpressive thats amazing!!!! Such a coincidence that we both were on the thinner side 2 days ago and now looking good with identical numbers haha! My LH strips are getting darker so i think i will get a positive tomorrow probably which would mean a similar thursday or friday transfer next week i guess!

Yep i did a bit of exercise, warm socks and got pomegranate juice so who knows if that helped or if i was just ready to grow my lining anyway haha!

Oooo by "test the trigger out" do you mean trying HPTs to track when the trigger shot leaves my system?
