Stopping tracking

Has anyone stopped tracking everything and anything to do with cycles and fertility? After nearly 4.5 years of TTC, the idea of no longer recording or tracking anything came up at my therapy session recently. I’m considering only noting the start of a period in my calendar and deleting my Flo app. This is in an effort to stop living and breathing TTC, we’re already doing as much as we can to aid it. I’m just exhausted mentally.

Yes I think that sounds like a very good idea! I stopped tracking everything when I found out my tubes were blocked so I couldn’t conceive without IVF. A weight was lifted. After years of tracking everything I felt like I knew my body very well and still knew when I was ovulating anyway. It is out of your control and I just feel like the tracking can be so consuming. I am so sorry you are going through this 😞 you could always try not tracking for a couple of months to see if does help you not to focus so much on it xx

Yes I think I’ll try that - seeing how it goes for a couple of months. It’s just all-consuming. Thank you, I’m sorry you’ve been through it all too :(
