Hi @Mumsget1001 @Dodeedoo
Before I start, it’s worth saying that I am not yet pregnant but wanted to share my experience.
I had clear passage therapy in London at Sutherland Life clinic for severe hydrosalpinx in both tubes, caused by multiple surgeries for Crohn’s disease. My only other option through the IVF clinic seemed to be more surgery which i didn’t want and surgeons advised me against. The treatment was 5 days, about 5 hours each day, with 2 really lovely women.
They told me to wait 3 months and TTC naturally and if nothing had happened, go for a scan. I went for a MRI scan which showed one tube had unblocked completely and the other was much smaller than previously but unfortunately, still there. This was only recently so I’m still deliberating what to do next but I have been in touch with the clinic who have offered a number of suggestions including further treatment with them.
What I will say, despite not being pregnant, I found it to be a really positive experience. The 2 women really listened to my concerns, I finally felt heard which I did not get from IVF. I felt like I was on a production line during our cycle. I also have massively noticed the difference in my stomach in terms of scar tissue. When I went for treatment, my stomach was rock hard and really inflexible which was due to scar tissue, it is now a lot softer and I move around much more freely.
So I guess not exactly a success story but I am still hopeful! Happy to answer any questions you have 😊
