Hydrosalpinx and low ovarian reserve

Hello,

I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through something similar. I'm 39, 40 next month. I've been ttc for almost 2 years, 1 chemical pregnancy. I've just discovered that my right fallopian tube is blocked, with hydrosalpinx and that my ovarian reserve is only 5. I'm currently looking to treat the hydrosalpinx privately as the waiting list for the nhs is too long. I'm based in south yorkshire, is there anyone that has done this privately and can advise on what place I could go or the price I'll be looking at roughly? Thanks in advance.

Hi did you ever find a way to get this done? I’m similar age and also south Yorkshire and just had this mentioned at a scan. I’ve done 4 ivf rounds already and never had it mentioned before

I don’t know if they saw it….its bad they didn’t see it if that is the case. I only asked for a scan as not had a period for a few months after my last cycle and I was waiting to start treatment again. Doctor going to call me tomorrow with what they think it is (I’m with Care btw)
