Hello, Iam 32 trying for our second baby through IVF because I have a genetic condition and we had to go down that route to have children. We have no known fertility problem but lately has been very difficult time for us. So far we had 1 miscarriage at 11 weeks , 2 failed Frozen embryo transfers and 1 chemical pregnancy and 1 embryo that didn't survive the thawing process. Our embryos are good quality 5AB and all are genetically tested with PGD. We have one boy 20 months old. Today iam 6dp5dt with our last embryo and I tested positive first time on evening 8pm 4dp5dt. The lines aren’t progressing and today I can't help myself iam crying all day because i know this was my last chance to give a sibling to my son Please advice any success stories similar to mine please check fotos of the tests I took today

Hi OP,

Sorry you're going through this - and for your previous losses. It's such hard work. We are also currently trying for a 2nd (and there have been various CPs, MMCs along the way for both this one and our daughter). I am 7w+5days atm (fingers crossed this one sticks!) with our last chance for a sibling (no embryos left, and i think i'm too old now at nearly 42 to get any more decent ones - plus not sure i have the mental strength / money to go again!).

In previous transfers I have tested out the trigger. So have seen tests fading to virtually nothing around 4dp5dt, then very very slowly getting darker. I have always taken day 8 as a bit more definitive than day 6. My current pregnancy tests were very very faint until about day 7/8, and even after that I never got the 'dye stealer', but my hcg levels were good and they saw heartbeat on an early scan. Also, depending on if/ when implantation takes place it can be a while before you get a positive test - so I would say don't give up hope, and maybe give it 2 days (if you can!) before testing again.

Good luck with everything.

p.s. I think your tests in the pics look decent - i mean there are obvious lines. Are the easy@home ones from different days? I think the second one does look darker.

Hi, we are also trying for a sibling, just done 3 back to back rounds and this is the only one that gave us something to transfer back…we have 2 in at the moment and still BFN at 6dp5dt. Don’t think we have much hope of it changing. But I’m now going to wait a few days (maybe!) to test again.

Your lines look great and with our first we had the faintest of faintest lines at 5dp (I actually thought it was negative) then it was more visible of 6dp. Can definitely see lines on yours so keeping everything crossed 🤞🏾 xx
