Natural FET - HCG trigger or not?

I’m going to be having a FET in June. I’ve had 3 previously that all failed. They were natural with an hcg trigger. I’m wondering if the hcg trigger somehow made my lining less receptive ? But I’m not sure how it works without and unsure if my clinic will be ok if I decline it . Has anyone had a totally natural FET and it worked ?

Sorry to hear about your failed FETs. Also sorry I’ve never had a completely natural FET, have used the trigger for both of my natural cycles, but was very tempted not too.

My clinic said it was very much up to me. If I wanted to just track ovulation, they said they would schedule it for 6 days post LH surge… Are your clinic open on weekend? I ultimately chose to use trigger because my clinic is closed on weekends and with the trigger they a bit are more able schedule. I think if my clinic were open 7 days a week I would have probably opted to not use it. Are your cycles regular/predictable? I think it’s definitely worth discussing with your clinic, I would be surprised if they said no! X

Yes they are open at weekends so it would be possible I think. I just feel I’ve got fixated on thinking maybe the trigger was why my previous FETs didn’t work, but then I see so many cases where people have the trigger and it does work so I don’t know what to do ! Can I ask were you successful with a cycle with a trigger ?

I think it’s natural to what to control/change something!
I’ve had one failed FET with a trigger, and currently in the middle of my second FET with a trigger which I think has worked x

Oh that’s amazing ! Have you been testing it out and it’s coming back ?!

If its helpful i did fully natural FET no trigger as my clinic are open 7 days a week. I was hospitalised after my egg collection with severe OHSS and was adamant about having no more injections as was/still pretty traumatised by that experience!

So didn’t test it out, was adamant that I wasn’t going to test early and just enjoy the possibility of being pregnant, but I caved! Waited till like 13 days post trigger / 7dp5dt to test so was fairly certain that it was a true positive!
