i posted this on conception thread too and not sure which to post on but just completed a round of ivf and I’m 5dp5dt transfer is it possible to get a positive now ? I’ve just done a first response as I had an urge to test I know I’m testing very early but could this really be our time! This was a fresh transfer My trigger shot was done on 10/05

Hi - so 12 days since your trigger shot? (depending on trigger, it could well be out of your system by now). Maybe test again tomorrow or the day after and see if the line gets darker. Looks v promising though. Good luck! 🙂

@Evi83 thank you I didn’t realise trigger shot can stay in your system for 12 days and I’m thinking I might have a false positive

@Flowers07 i think it depends on strength of trigger / you. Mine had all gone by 12d tho so I reckon yours is a real positive! Fingers crossed for that darker line in coming days 🙏🏻

My trigger stayed for 14 days both times when i used gonsai as trigger.x

Mine stayed for 13 days post Ovitrell 250 on the cycle that i tested it out. Hopefully yours is a real positive though!

thanks all kind of wishing I didn’t now I tested again this morning I feel like the line is pretty much the same colour surely the trigger would be gone by now Everything I see online says 10-12 days for most people I used zivafert trigger

Sorry I know i Probably sound like I’m going crazy which I probably am 🤣 but I’ve done another test but this time on a clear and simple test. I don’t think there as sensitive as first response ?

@Flowers07 i did hundreds of tests!! I can’t see a line on these but I think that’s just the photo. If you can see a line then that’s great! Fingers crossed for you! I think at 13dp trigger the trigger will be gone. How many days post transfer are you ? (And was it a 3 or 5 day transfer?) x

Thanks @Evi83 when did you test positive? I can see something it’s better in person hopefully it continues but I have been getting some cramps today I think I’m due on in around 4 days. It was a day 5 transfer x

As a compulsive tester I tested out the trigger so I could see the tests getting lighter, and then from around 7/8dp5dt they started getting darker (altho still pretty faint!). But everyone is different of course.
That’s great you can see lines - I think it’s all sounding positive. Let us know how you get on with tests. I think ideally (but I am definitely not one to give this particular advice cos I was testing 3 times a day!!) you’d wait 2 days between tests - cos then you should see more of a difference.
