Negative test, 12DP6DT

So today was test day. I took 3 different tests and 2 were negative but one perhaps had the faintest line ever. Although maybe we’re just desperate to see something that’s not there.
I’m on day 3 of missed period too.
Need to call clinic tomorrow to tell them, and I’m hoping they advise to come in for a BT in a couple days, but I was just wondering if anyone’s had a similar situation and it came out positively?
This is our third transfer, and we transferred the last 2 embryos we had.
Feeling so deflated and low, but me and my husband promised eachother if it didn’t work, we dust ourselves and get back on the horse.
Not how I hoped this round would go 😓

@Coopswynter I’ve been using FRER and have a similar line to yours and I’m currently at 11DP5DT. Unfortunately I’ve resigned to the fact that it’s going to be a chemical pregnancy as in my experience the line should be much darker at this stage. My test day is not until Tuesday but I’ve tested over the last few days and unfortunately my line has not gotten darker.

I’m hoping that your clinic can do bloods and that they double as I’ve also seen some positive stories on Reddit. Would you take another test tomorrow to see how it’s progressing? Wishing you the best of luck and I know how heartbreaking and stressful it can be waiting and having hope ❤️

Ah I’m sorry to hear that xx This is all torture isn’t it!!! I’m going to take another test again tomorrow morning and pray that there’s a darker line. Either way I have to call my clinic tomorrow and say what’s going on and I’ll just ask if they can do a BT for confirmation.
sending love to you xx

Just a thought, do you think yours (and mine) could have possibly been that the embryos implanted at a later stage? I know you’ve mentioned you’d have expected to see a darker line given how many days past transfer you are, but if the embryo implanted more towards the end of your tww that could have an impact? X

@Coopswynter that could certainly contribute to the lighter lines and I think having a few tests done a couple of days apart could help with seeing how things are progressing.

unfortunately for us, my line hasn’t changed since day 5 and with my previous pregnancies even chemicals I would have had a strong line /dye steeler at this stage.

however everyone’s body is so different and I would not rule things out just yet but I would protect my heart in case things don’t progress as they should.

This is such limbo as the uncertainty is so hard to deal with. I’m sorry you are going through this and I honestly hope that things work out for you ❤️❤️❤️

@Coopswynter how are you getting on? Did you do another test? I hope it has gotten darker x

Lmnop22 · 19/05/2025 20:24

I would read that test as positive OP!

Really hoping you got a darker one today.
