Partner and I have been trying for almost a year and a half. We got testing done at the end of last year and discovered he had an incredibly low count. Hormone tests (high FSH, elevated LH) indicated non obstructive azoospermia but with some sperm.
He has done 3 semen analysis and 2 attempts at freezing which were unsuccessful. His counts have normally been in the low hundreds, with a lot non motile or poor morphology. One test was in the thousands which prompted the freeze attempts
Next is tese, micro tese isn't available here.
I am beyond devastated. It has taken all this time, so many tests and countless delays to get to this point.
Our consultant said we have a good chance with tese as he does have some sperm, he seems very optimistic but he also was the one who suggested freezing would work.
I'm in absolute bits at the thought our journey could be over before it's truly begun. I am scared to hope as every time that has meant pain.
Anyone with similar stories have success with standard tese?
