IVF- ‘Polypoidal’ folds in uterus lining

We've been doing IVF for years, and had 5 unsuccessful embryo transfers (and 3 early miscarriages from natural conceptions).

At every uterus ultrasound scan I’ve had, I’ve been told there are folds in the lining which look like they might be polyps (they describe them as ‘polypoidal’ folds), but when I've had hysteroscopies, they've seen that they are just folds.

I was told by a consultant years ago that the folds wouldn’t affect implantation, but I had another hysteroscopy recently, and a different consultant said that it would affect implantation, so I’m not sure what’s true.

If anyone has had any experience of this, or knows if there's anything that can be done to help, I’d be grateful for any info or thoughts. Thanks

My wife was told this right before IUI. They implied it would be futile but my view was let’s go ahead as we were right at insemination, luckily we did as our daughter is 3 now. I know one anecdotal account isn’t gospel, but just wanted to say it is possible. Good luck!
