Hi 👋
just wondering what people’s outcomes have been with IVF age 40(+)

I turn 40 next month
currently awaiting FET in my 3rd IVF round

all previous transfers BFN so I don’t have much hope for this one 😞 and wondering whether to bother trying again….

transfers:
1 = 2 x ungraded - BFN
2 = 1 3AA - BFN
3 = 2 x 3BC and 5BC - BFN
4 = transfer next week of 3BC
(all untested)

I can't remember the grades but round 3 worked for me at age 42. Round 1 double transfer BFN and Round 2 single transfer BFN. Round 3 double transfer BFP. Round 3 was supposed to be a single transfer with two other embryos being given an extra day to see if they would be good enough quality to freeze but doctor changed his mind just before transfer and decided to implant one of the slower growing ones. I think it might have been 3BC. Obviously I don't know which worked. Good luck
