Medicated FET - please help!

Hi all, I have my first FET booked for Thursday which feels like such a huge milestone. We only have one embryo which has passed PGT-A and PGT-M testing, after having none our first round, so this feels huge.

However, I am taking oestradiol (estrogen) and cyclogest progesterone to prepare. I have had two cyclogest pessaries so far and have had some pink spotting. Is this usual or has anyone else experienced this?

My clinic are calling me tomorrow to follow up but I’m so worried that the transfer will be cancelled. TIA xxx

@MissAbell try using the cyclogest rectally so that it isnt irritating your cervix and potentially causing the spotting

Hi, it’s very common to get spotting due to irritated cervix per the PP. You can use them rectally instead. I was told by my clinic I could alternate between the methods depending on what I felt comfortable with. You will likely be told to take it rectally the morning of the transfer so that the oils etc are not in the way of the transfer that day.

good luck!
