Hi 👋
Im just wondering if anyone is in a similar situation and wants to create a little thread. Late 30s, Endometriosis and TTC
Severe Endometriosis excised recently but also have adenomyosis.
Is anyone in the same boat? Or does anyone have any success stories. ❤️

I don’t have it myself, but just wanted to tell you that my friend who was open to ttc but not actively trying, and who is 40 (maybe 41 now) is about a month away from having her 1st. She’s had endo and surgery for it. I’m quietly jealous as here’s me with no endo and only MCs. But her story also makes me hopeful that it might still happen. She’s had a smooth and easy pregnancy!

Down regulation / long protocol ivf can help

Agree with this. The down regulation (if long enough) suppresses the hormones that feed the endo/adenomyosis.

Hi, I’m in a similar situation. Severe endo, PCOS. Seeing gynae and fertility unit at hospital in next few weeks after MRI and tests. Looks like will need ivf but not sure when that will happen.
I’ve heard a lot of positive stories from women who’ve gone through similar so I do feel there is hope!
hope youre doing ok- it is a difficult place to be in, so im glad you started this thread :)

Joining this thread to find others in this situation! Stage 4 endo here and had a blocked hydrosalpinx fallopian tube which needed to be removed to help with IVF. No success story to give you yet, had some failed cycles but not sure if I’ve reached the end of the line, might still try again with IVF. Also looking for other people’s stories. Good luck!

Hi lovely 💛
Oh gosh, I just wanted to reach out and say you’re absolutely not alone. I'm 38 with both endometriosis too, so I really understand how heavy it can all feel.
I had my first little miracle and am now gently exploring the idea of trying for a sibling. It’s hard not to feel like time is against us, especially with these kinds of conditions, but I’ve seen so many beautiful stories of hope. Would love to stay connected if you fancy a little endo/adenomyosis thread of support and gentle cheerleading. We all need our village ❤️
Sending you so much love
Mary x

That’s really encouraging, congratulations and best of luck for a sibling! Thank you for taking the time to reply, it goes a little way to feeling less isolating knowing there are others 🥰
