Natural Modified FET - ovulation tracking?

Hello!

Just looking for anyone with experience of a natural FET where you’ve taken a trigger shot…

I have just had a failed one, and the nurses asked me a couple of times during it if I was tracking ovulation… Which I wasn’t, and when I asked if I should they just said it was up to me.

Not really sure why this would be useful as there is an injection to time ovulation anyway? Has anyone found it helpful to track ovulation as well?

Any thoughts appreciated 😊

For my 3rd transfer, i was supposed to do natural modified as well. Went on ultrasound on saturday, follicle was 17mm and they said i should apply hcg shoot on monday.
Well it seemed lateish for my usual O day and decided to do opks, i got strong positive on sunday and called them on monday, ultrasounds on monday and tuesday showed i ovulated on monday lets say afternoon. It changed the date of my transfer from monday to saturday (so 2 says earlier then was planned) , completely natural cycle and for now it stuck! My first two resulted in chemical pregnancies so yes, i would definitely track if i were you unless you are 100% positive they timed it right!

Thank you so much for your reply, and congratulations that’s great news!!

What ovulation test strips did you use? Did you test twice a day? It’s all new to me!

I used cheap ones (one step or something like that) and tested 2-3 times a day (usually get positive in the evenings!
Thank you and good luck!
