I on my 3rd IVF after 2 failed.
This time round I broke into hives (neck, hip and leg) during my ganirelix (stims day 5). Got prescribed fexofenadine and Steroid cream.
I haven't took my antihistamine as during my 2nd IVF I had low follicles and i believe it was because of that. Doctor said it was OK to take but I want to max my follicles.

Anyway. I went to my stims day 10 scan and was told to continue my stims for another 3 days as they are not big enough, there enough follicles: 1 over 11mm but my other 16 are between 6 to 10mm. They mention if they don't grow over weekend my treatment might be cancel due to immature egg. Next scan n Monday.

I now overthinking and think should have I taken the antihistamine would it made a difference?

Take the antihistamine. That's not what is causing small follicles. It's better for your body if you treat the allergy then to let it reek havoc on your body. Your follicles sound as though they are not responding to the stims and they might need increasing or changed. I would talk to your clinic about why your follicles are small and what can you do next for a better outcome. But definitely take your antihistamine.
