Cyst in womb lining

I was booked for an FET today but they found a 2cm cyst in my womb that wasn’t there at the last scan last week. So they cancelled the transfer.

Has anyone had this before?

To be honest it doesn’t really matter about future outcomes as we aren’t able to start another cycle now due to work reasons so we will likely just remove the embryos from storage. But I’m more just curious about if anyone has had a cyst and did it just go away by itself? The doctor was saying I might need to have investigations etc.

They found a cyst on my ovary at the last scan before egg collection. I did proceed and had my daughter and was advised at the 12 week scan when they saw it to get it checked 6 weeks post partum. I had it scanned around 8 weeks post partum & it was still there so I have to have a scan annually now to check on it so I would definitely get it checked out.
