Interpretation Fertility Results

I stupidly asked no questions at a recent appointment. I will call on Monday to get my results sent to me but in the meantime maybe someone here can help me to understand.

AMH 19
4 on left, 8 on right (is that the AFC and does that mean I have 12 total?)

With an AMH of 19 you could end up with more than 12 eggs if you do an IVF round, because it's higher than your AFC would imply. The latter can vary by month/ who is doing the counting/ resolution of the scanner etc.

For reference, my AMH is 12.5 and I get 20 eggs each time.

@sirensong I’m not sure if my AMH is accurate as I had one done a couple of months ago and it was only 9, so I’m not sure 19 is correct, I can’t see how it could have doubled in such a short time so I think I’ll repeat that test.

@Clara202 I've pretty consistently had an AFC of 12 and got 8/9 eggs in 2 rounds of egg collection, based on my follicles & how stims went they'd expected around 10 but when I first went for scans said it could go up, or down from the 12 counted but it was a decent starting off point. My AMH was 11.8 when tested last summer
