Hysteroscopy + oestrogen, any experiences?

Hi all, I had a hysteroscopy to remove some scar tissue 2.5 weeks ago and have been on 3 x 2mg progynova daily since to help with healing. Will be taking these 4-6 weeks, and I just sort of assumed it woukd stop me getting my period, however I'm now getting some spotting on day 22/23 of my cycle (I usually have 25 day cycles)

Has anyone had a hysteroscopy then oestrogen after & can advise about what happened to them, or what your doctor told you?

I could try and chase up my Dr to speak to him about it but I feel like I'm always making a big deal out of nothing!

Hi, I had similar. I had a hysteroscopy to remove scarring and then they put a copper coil in while my lining healed. I had oestrogen 3x per day from day 1 of my cycle and then had to take progesterone too for the last 10 days of each cycle (from day 18). I got a period each month and started the meds again. I did this for 3 months then had the coil out. Not sure if I would have had my period still if I was just on oestrogen. Can you ask your doctor to get some reassurance?

Thanks @Allnew2021 I checked with my doctor who just said it's common for cycles to be shorter after a hysteroscopy and not to worry! So I guess I just keep up with the meds and carry on for now, I'm in for a scan in a couple of weeks to see how its all looking and if I can go ahead with another FET so just need to wait and see now
