Starting PGT IVF with extremely low sperm count

Hi all,

We are nearly at the end of a very long journey waiting for IVF and finally finding the right treatment path for us. We have been TTC for 3 years and have known that we will need IVF for 18 months due to my partner's extremely low sperm count (initially identified as azoospermia, but we now have 20-50 individual sperm in each sample). Our wonderful consultant also identified a balanced translocation which could be the cause of our low sperm count, and we have been accepted for 3 cycles of PGT with ICSI.

I have seen lots of stories about MFI IVF and lots about PGT IVF, but never anything regarding tackling both at once. My egg collection is scheduled for later this month and I'm keen to hear stories from others who have had a similar journey. For context, I have completely normal fertility - good AMH, good AFC, normal hormones and normal scans so we are hopeful there are no issues with me.
Please reach out if you have been in a similar situation! X
