Ivf / egg collection - does your clinic do egg collection at weekends

Sorry if its a ' silly ' question..
Does your clinic do egg collection at weekends?

The clinic I was at didn't do weekend egg collections. I think they may have done weekend transfers though. It seems like each clinic is different!

My clinic doesn't do egg collections on weekends I've been to 3 now and not known any that do x

Mine did (UCLH/CRGH) and weekend scanning. I do think it’s preferable if possible.

When I was at London Womens Clinic they did EC weekdays and Saturday only (not Sundays) Create (who I'm with now and have had previous cycles with) does them every day.

At LWC I was concerned about that as I have DOR so was only likely to get a couple of eggs max so risked them being too early or too late if they tried to force my EC to work on a Sat or Mon when it might have needed to be a Sunday. Very glad Create does every day.

If you're paying privately OP, I would definitely pick one that does every day so you get the best result.

FYI Create do not do other appts on Sunday, like scans or bloods though, only EC. They have a smaller clinic on Sats - so you get bloods and scans if necessary but more likely to be nurse practioner or something similar doing scan on Sat rather than Drs
