Caremaps score

Hi, just wondering if anyone has success with low scoring embryos using caremaps?. Thank you

Hiya @HeadInTheClouds4 sorry but I don’t have success story but wanted to say that I only have a single frozen embryo with a care maps score it was the lowest grade with only 6-10% chance of working which they said was because it was day 6 rather than how it looked. They scored it a 5aa though so I’m still trying to have hope. We will be transferring on my next cycle.

OP what did you decide to do? We’ve got a couple with higher care maps score we are doing PGTA testing on. (Currently at day 5).
then there are two with care maps score 1 out of 10 and 2 out of 10. Embryologist didn’t say what they would do with them other than check them tomorrow but given my age I need all the embryos I can! Has anyone had experience of this- does the clinic discard them? Freeze them knowing they are lower quality? Biopsy them too?

I have transferred a 6bb hatched embryo caremaps 4 and currently 12weeks, it was euploid. I just want to get to my dating scan to confirm all ok which is mid april

@HeadInTheClouds4 that’s amazing congrats! How did everyone get on? I don’t have a ‘caremaps’ score but I’ve been given an IDAscore for my embryos, which sounds basically exactly the same (out of 10, 10 the best, likelihood of success based on Timelapse from embryoscope).

Im 32 and my husband and I are in the ‘unexplained’ category. I had 17 eggs retrieved, 11 fertilised. Had a day 1 and 2 update and they said all were progressing as they’d expect… then day 5 only had one embryo, a 3Ab with an IDAscore of 3.80 and day 6 one more embryo, a 5Bb with an IDAscore of 2.70. So really disheartened and desperately searching for some low IDAscore/Caremaps/Embryoscope score success stories!!!! X

@GamerGirl09hi! Have you gone ahead with a transfer? I’m just starting my FET protocol to transfer a 2/2 with 2/10 caremaps. Feeling very very negative about it tbh!

@Hopesforamiracle I completely get you, I was super negative about it too but….. been testing positive since Saturday (5dp5dt as my transfer was 14/07) 🤞🏼♥️ beta is Friday and of course I’m worried about line progression and stuff so we will see but I’ve been cautiously optimistic since seeing the positives! We transferred the day 5 3Ab with IDAscore 3.80. Don’t give up hope yet and good luck 🤞🏼♥️ also you could maybe ask your clinic to give you a success % based on age and other factors? I was stressing about my IDAscore and my clinic give me a bit more hope by telling me what percentage of their patients had success with a similar IDAscore xx

2/10 care maps has about a 7.4% chance of working according to the stats. I HATE stats! We have opted to use embryo glue as well in the hope of a bit more sticky help! I have my first lining scan on Friday and will take it from there. I just hope it thaws out well too!

@Hopesforamiracle good luck with your lining scan ♥️ my 11dp5ft beta hCG came back at 341 so registered with gp etc now and booked in for first midwife booking appt and viability scan in a couple weeks 🤞🏼♥️

i am doing it all! Beetroot juice, acupuncture, yoga, warm foods you name it my lining is having it haha! xx

@Anniekent1 hi annie. Just picked thus thread back up and wondered how you had got on? I’ve had. A bit of a nightmare and still trying to transfer my embryo! My lining has not been playing ball at all! So doing low dose stims next week to hopefully get a decent lining to try to implant!

Hi there, sorry to resurrect this,I hope your pregnancy journey is going steady and well! I've been looking through previous ivf related threads as trying to be ahead of the pressure having to choose from the different graded embryos hopefully. May I ask what helped you decide to go for 3ab embryo instead?

Hey, that pregnancy unfortunately ended in miscarriage (missed miscarriage somewhere around 6/7 weeks). We went with the 3Ab because it was our only day 5 embryo. We have one other embryo and that’s a day 6 5Bb with an IDAscore of 2.7. We’re going to transfer that as that’s our only embryo but prepared to go into another round if that one isn’t successful.
