Letzrazole cycle day 25

So I had my cycle 21 day bloods 46.6 I'm on cycle day 25 decided to take a pregnancy test strip and and a ovulation test strip , I don't no how or why my ovulation test strip is showing up and negative pregnancy test , I have a feeling this round of letzrazole had failed also ,the only time I have actually ovulated in 3 months on this new medication:( top one is ovulation t at on cycle day 25 and bottom or both hcg tests

So, the LH test is kinda meaningless - there's background LH around all cycle long. Just prior to ovulation it peaks and basically the test line should match the control line in strength of colour. The HCG tests suggest you are not pregnant at present. Your progesterone bloods suggest you did not ovulate when they would hope.

For my letrozole cycles they did bloods at day 21, 28, 35 to check for ovulation (based on progesterone value) then used norethisterone to end the cycle if it had not worked to induce ovulation. What is your clinic's plan with that?

The nurse told me anything over 30 on day 22 blood test means I didn ovulate over the weekend before as my scan showed one 16 mm follicle , if this round of letzrazole hasn't worked then they told me there going to adjust my medication for the next two months as I'm on waiting list of IVF , thank you for your message it's a little clearer for me now, it's just disheartening now at the min I'm going to let af come as normal and start again x thank u for your reply its really appriated ☺️ xx

Sorry for the long message can I just add in that on cycle day 13 I had a scan thats when my follicle was 16mm that was a thursday and on Saturday I had ovulation pain like nothing I ever experienced before,( was lots of sensations going on and bloating,think was maybe because I was aware that the nurse said you will ovulate over the weekend , so when I when for my 21 day blood test they told me i habe in fact ovulated with my test blood results, so maybe they weren't right ? I think il will air this out till af arrives ,sorry I'm not a good at explaining things hope U can make this out lol my phone likes to predict my words lol xx

The LH test is still meaningless - there's background LH around all cycle long so it's fine that there's some pink there.

Your clinic say your progesterone bloods on cd21 plus the scan suggest you did ovulate? If so that is a good thing. Even with successful ovulation and well timed sex unfortunately the chances of conceiving are about 1/4 per cycle, so it might just not have worked in that sense.

Then your HCG strips aren't positive right now, but you might only be about 10.dpo so keep checking.

If this cycle is not effective, your clinic is planning to increase your letrozole dose.

I totally understand the feeling disheartened - it's such a long and stressful process with so much waiting. I hope it happens for you soon.

Sorry my way of explaining isn't that great ,Thank you so much for your reply , yes I'm around 10 dpo , I'm 34 now and I was on injections prior gonal f with trigger it also never worked for me for 6 rounds , il maybe test one more time when im due just to see , im so afraid im running out of time but thank you so much for your message 😊 xx

You’re not running out of time OP. What strength Letrozole are you on? Will they increase this?

Letrozole made me ovulate on day 13 and I got very very faint lines on 10dpo. So keep a close eye over the next couple of days. Good luck x

Hi yes I seamed to have ovulated early this round , I'm on 5mg letzrazole, yes the nurse they will figure out next month if to increase the letzrazole , I'm kinda of just waiting now just to see , oh wow congratulations, that's really good at 10dpo what about of letzrazole wer you on if you don't mind me asking xx

@Dachshund1 7.5, with progesterone suppositories too. It worked first cycle for me. Good luck 🤞

Hi , I'm 14 dpo now , af should be here tomorrow give or take 2-3 days , I don't feel like this round has worked although I do have pcos , I havnt tested in few days as I haven't had any symptoms, just normal heavy breasts bloated tummy , , I ordered some cheap hcg strip tests today while I'm waiting for af to arrive , can U Tel me more about progesterone suppositories? Period arrived today feel very down my body isn't doing what I have hoped for for years , onto 4th round of letzrazole tomorrow :( xxxxxxxx
