Hi all,
Long story very very short, I have significant issues ovulating. Medics say PCOS but also say I don't really meet criteria.
Since I came off the contraceptive pill in 2020 I have ovulated a maximum of about 5 times. One in late 2020 resulted in a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. Once in late 2022 resulted in our child.
Letrozole ovulation induction prior to conceiving our child did not work. They used norethisterone each time to end the unsuccessful cycle.
Now, after having my daughter, I have not had a period in almost 2 years. I have had prescribed sets of provera and of norethisterone, none of which have worked to induce a bleed.
Any ideas why this is? I haven't been able to find anything online. NHS gynaecology waitlist is 2 yrs + in my area but even with private gynaecologist I'm hitting a bit of a dead end where they say "oh you probably have insulin resistant pcos but we aren't sure". Why has this stopped working?!
I've probably missed stuff out but would love any advice or sharing of similar woes.
