Hey guys, so we did round 3 of PGT- it was recommended that I take CoQ10 and it seemed to help, more eggs and more fertiliser. Left with 4 day 5 blastocysts and 1 day 6 (grades seem to be ok) they are being biopsied. I’m 40 in may and in my first cycle I had a euploid and second an aneuploid. I’m so so so so scared that these will all be aneuploid because I’m so old. Is there anyone who can give us some hope or what to expect? On a side note, the embryology team have been so so so so amazing to us and have answered everything but I can barely sleep because I’m so frightened x

The population level stat for 40 is 1 or 2 euploid out of 5 embryos but your result will be individual to your personal fertility and luck of the draw.

Good luck! 5 gives you a good chance.

Good luck @mummyofnone it's so hard waiting to hear the results back! Fingers crossed you get euploids from this round, you're starting with really positive numbers of blastocysts which is a good starting point for sure. Just try and keep as occupied as you can while waiting for the results would be my advice!

Hello I did a round just after I turned 38, we got 22 eggs, and from there we got 12 blastocysts. We PGT-A tested 8 and 7 came back normal. I know I was a little bit younger but it was higher than average for my age.

Hope it helps and good luck x

I had 2 euploids out of 5 at 37. Consultant said she expected around 2 or 3.

I'd read a chart on Emma the Embryologist's instagram account, I can't find the post now, but at 38 (which I was) it had an expected euploid rate of day 5 embryos at around 57% and a little lower for day 6 embryos. The chart might be on her website which has rates by age - she has loads of really helpful other info too
