Follicle size Stims day 10

Hi,
today I am on stims day 10. I am on Gonal F & Luveris. I have had a scan today which shows I have 12 follicles however only 5 are correct size so far the rest are below 10mm, what are the chances the rest will catch up in a couple of days? My last collection I got 9 eggs so I’m really disappointed to think I may only have 5eggs! Just looking for some positive stories please!

When are you triggering?

It depends how far under 10mm you're talking and when you're triggering. My clinic retrieves everything over 10mm on the off chance and I've had follicles around that size yield mature eggs (I assume based on numbers). If you're doing standard IVF not ICSI it's also possible for some to mature overnight in vitro.

The original date to trigger was tomorrow, day 11 however they do always say that it’s only a guide. I have been told to take until tomorrow and then will have another scan Wednesday morning so I was hoping with the extra couple of days it may make all the difference!

@NikN if they plot them on a graph take a photo of the screen. You'll be able to see the growth rate per day of each follicle and estimate the trajectory.
