Medicated cycles and negative OPKs

Hi,

I'm on Letrozole and doing my second medicated cycle privately. I'm now cd11 and my OPKs are not even getting remotely darker. I have my only follicle scan of the cycle tomorrow at day 12 as I'm on a single scan package to save money. (Then plan is dual trigger shot again and adding Cyclogest this cycle.) They charge close to double for two scans and I can't afford that. I'm worried it's going to be too early. This isn't normal for me as by now OPKs are getting darker at least if not yet positive. Last cycle I triggered on cd12. My period is always around 5 days and I start getting EWCM a couple of days after it ends. I didn't get that this cycle and instead had some spotting/brown blood when I wiped until I took my last tablet. Any advice? I had three good follicles at day 12 last cycle and I'm really worried I won't have any tomorrow or does this not correlate with the OPKs. I didn't change anything this month so not sure what's happening. Any advice really appreciated 😢.

We did 3 Letrozole cycles on nhs
Didnt work

Ultimately we then did private hyfosy - 515 gbp
On NHS consultants advice
My tubes were blocked

( they were not both blocked a year prior as we concieved naturally and had early miscarriage)

Which letrozole dose are u on ?
I was on 2.5 mg
My body is very sensitive and i had side effects

Have you had your tubes checked in last 6 months ?

Hi there, thanks so much for your reply. I'm so sorry the Letrozole didn't work for you. I had a HyCoSy very recently yes and it was all clear. I haven't done IVF. My first was conceived naturally but took 3 years. Been TTC second 2 years. Doing medicated cycles privately but been advised IVF pointless for me. I really can't afford it and been told I'd need several tries too with my ovarian reserve. I have secondary infertility and low AMH of 2.6 pmo/l at last time of checking 6 months ago. I'm on my second cycle of 5mg from day 2-7. No PCOS. Just had my scan on day 12 and had two follicles. Not quite ready to trigger as lead one was only 17mm so will do that in 2 days. But lining was nice and thick. I'm adding Cyclogest pessaries this round too as well as 2 trigger shots. I wish you all the very best on your journey too x

Really interesting. I had pretty much everything tested via Randox Health as I did their full female fertility health MOT. Everything was fine except for low iron which I've since fixed with 200mg ferrous sulfate a day. I've never been checked for Coeliac though so it definitely sounds worth a try. Do you know if your friend had any symptoms of Coeliac?

She had low iron.

( She has low bmi - she always has done )

Part of testing 4 celiac meant she had to eat lotsa gluten and then not

She felt way better with reduced gluten
