Norethisterone

Hi Ladies,
For anyone who has taken Norethisterone as part of their FET/IVF protocol how long did your period take to arrive after stopping?

It's been 7 days for me and no sign whatsoever of AF arriving which is really frustrating as I really want to get started on my FET

Hi, it’s always taken me 2-4 days (I’ve used norethisterone before 5 freezing rounds and 3 FETs). I can’t remember the cut off but at some point I was told to inform my clinic if it hadn’t started so maybe you can get in touch with them to ask.

Thank you @Zypig I will get in touch with my clinic to see if they have a cut off time. I've taken Norethisterone in the past for IVF and just to delay my period generally but it has never taken this long to come. Do you remember how long you were taking Norethisterone for, I was on for 14 days so wondering if the length of time has impacted this.

Hi OP, from memory I took it from cycle day 14 to day 25, then period started ~day 29/29.

I know this is a couple of months old, but can I ask how long it took until your bleed started? It's been 8 days since my last pill and still no bleed
